Commissioning

With expertise in a wide variety of applications, KEB’s experienced service technicians will provide you with support during start-up, remotely or on site – all over the world. The team has been specifically trained to deal with customer application tasks and offers you extensive commissioning services. 

REPAIRS

Should any failures or defects occur during the years of operation, it is important to check whether the right solution is to repair or to replace your product. KEB’s repair service analyses returned products, assesses the technical condition and looks into the options for replacement. We work with you to decide whether and how the function can be sustainably restored.

Online service portal

EASIER REPAIR REGISTRATION

Customers of KEB Automation have the possibility, to make repair registrations online with just a few clicks in the service portal. All information and descriptions relevant for the service can be stored in the portal. It is also possible to track the current processing status around at any time. Customers receive access data for the use of the service portal, which must be requested individually and once only from the KEB service department.

Express Service

WHEN SPEED IS ESSENTIAL

KEB’s express service considerably reduces processing times for repairs of frequency inverters and servo drives. After carrying out an analysis, we provide you with a repair within five working days (excluding the client’s approval time) for an additional fee of 20 percent on the repair costs.

Overnight Express Service

DELIVERED TODAY, REPAIRED TOMORROW

The overnight express service is available for urgent repairs that require immediate attention. With prior arrangement, a device delivered in the morning can be repaired and ready for collection the next day, at an additional cost of 40 peprcent on the repair expenses. This service ensures that your production systems can be quickly restored to operation.

ADVICE DURING TROUBLESHOOTING

TROUBLESHOOTING

Have you identified a malfunction in KEB’s hardware or software in your machines or system? If so, simply tell us about the malfunction, and our Services and Support team will immediately start looking for the right solution for you. Complex system analyses are possible in these cases. We will reliably work out which measures to take.

SPARE PARTS

From time to time, it may be necessary to replace individual components. KEB’s Services and Support team can help with this. Whether it is drive controllers or motors, our service engineers know exactly what you need and will supply you with suitable original spare parts quickly and easily. This will allow you to put your device back into operation without lengthy downtimes. 

As good as new

If any irregularities in a component occur within a machine or system (during the warranty period), KEB Automation’s service will find a solution as quickly as possible. A fast and effective alternative to replacing products is the “as good as new” approach, where products are restored to mint condition and the warranty period is renewed. 

RETROFIT SOLUTIONS

Take advantage of our retrofit solutions, which bring your machine or system back up-to-date again. Replacing older components (e.g. frequency inverters) will also ensure that your application remains as efficient as possible. The costs involved are lower than when installing a new machine, and existing infrastructures can continue to be used. This also means that your production capacity remains constant. KEB’s Services and Support team will gladly help you to implement your (individual) retrofit solution.
