AC Servo motors AL4 Series
With the AL4 series, KEB offers a new asynchronous square motor series that has been specially designed and developed for operation with frequency inverters in accordance with IEC 60034-25. The 3-phase asynchronous motors with cage winding have a 4-pole design and are available in protection classes IP23 and IP54. The current five sizes cover a power range from 0.37 kW to 55 kW.
The AL4 motors, manufactured by Brusatori, have an optimised power-to-size ratio for induction motors and provide excellent dynamic characteristics when the speed or torque changes over a wide speed range. In addition to many industrial applications in machines and systems, the AL4 motors are an ideal replacement for retrofitting DC motors. Apart from the standard configuration, the AL4 series can be customised to meet specific customer requirements, with the design adapted accordingly.
The combination with the COMBIVERT F6 drive controllers creates powerful drive systems in encoderless or encodered versions, which can be completed with pre-assembled encoder cables if required. The system is perfectly harmonised, providing outstanding technical parameters and impressing with high efficiency and simple commissioning.
