C6 COMPACT II
The efficient design of the C6 COMPACT control system is truly impressive. It works without a superimposed operating system which means that it can dedicate all its computing power to soft PLC and motion task applications. In addition to the real-time EtherCAT master, a number of slave interfaces (CANOpen, PROFIBUS, PROFINET RT, Interbus, EtherCAT, POWERLINK slave) are optionally available, as well as a CAN master. With the options for variable communication connection to other fieldbuses, the compact PLC can take over the control of a complete system or can also be used as a subordinate controller. The real-time bus system provides coordination and synchronous running of the axes, and enables consistent communication and diagnostics across all levels up to the drive.
