The application process is the first step on the path to your apprenticeship or work/study programme. As this step is so important, you might want to ask yourself a few questions before you apply: What is in store for me? What should I look out for? What happens next in the application procedure? THE APPLICATION PROCESS

SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION

You can easily apply online by clicking on the desired posting. To do so, fill in the application form and upload your application documents, consisting of your cover letter, CV and copies of your certificates.

CONFIRMATION

After submitting your application, you will receive an email from us confirming receipt. This email also contains contact details if you have any queries.

EXAMINING THE APPLICATION

Your application will be examined by the Human Resources and Training department. You will then receive a prompt reply from us.

RECRUITMENT TEST AND INTERVIEW

If your profile meets the requirements, we will invite you to take part in a recruitment test and an interview. This only applies to applications for an apprenticeship, not for a work/study programme. You can also find information about the recruitment test on this page.

If you have applied for a work/study programme and your profile meets the requirements, you will be invited directly to an interview.

YOUR APPRENTICESHIP AGREEMENT

If both parties (you and us) are still interested and all general conditions have been clarified, you will receive an apprenticeship agreement from us.

INFORMATION AND TIPS FOR APPLICATIONS

What should I look out for when applying?

Above all, you should make sure that you comply with the formal requirements for an application. We want to get an authentic impression of you. In order to do that, we need a cover letter, a CV and copies of your certificates.

How can I submit my application?

We look forward to receiving your application directly online via the respective posting. Please do not send in any paper documents. We want to act sustainably and reduce paper use.

When can I expect a response to my application?

Firstly, you will receive an email from us confirming that your application has been received. As we receive a large number of applications, we first have to gather them together.

How does the selection process work?

If you have applied for an apprenticeship and been short-listed, we will invite you to a recruitment test. After passing a recruitment test, we look forward to meeting you at an interview. There is no recruitment test for applicants for a work/study programme. If your profile meets our requirements, we will invite you to an interview. Afterwards, you will receive written notification of our final decision.

How can I prepare for the recruitment test?

There's no need to worry about the recruitment test. If you have good general knowledge, can handle numbers, and can speak German confidently, you're likely to pass the test.

During the interview, we want to find out more about you and why you want to start an apprenticeship or a work/study programme at KEB. Just be yourself.
